This is a new VIDEO CD of the Gala Concert from Hamburg, 10/10/71, featuring the COMPLETE finale of Act I of La bohème with Mirella Freni and Franco Corelli, the COMPLETE Act IV, scene 2 of Aida with Fiorenza Cossotto, Ilva Ligabue and Franco Corelli, PLUS 2 encore songs sung by a casually attired Corelli. The CD can be played on computer or DVD player. The color has been removed from the Bohème segment to make the picture clearer, there are brief absences of color in other places, and there is a timer running at the top of the screen in some parts. With singers like these, those minor flaws are soon forgotten. Picture quality is reasonably good, sound is good. It runs just under one hour
